My new old PC
Setting up your old PC, better than new!
How do you take an old PC, and make it run better than new? You condition the hard drive, clean out the cruft, remove bad programs and potentially hazardous files, reinstall the operating system from a source CD/DVD to insure no junkware goes back on the PC, and run all the updates polishing it off with a set of free and fast tools to do every day stuff simpler and safer, a good (free) antivirus program that doesn't slow your PC, and a defrag to make sure the drive is as clean operating as possible. It wouldn't hurt to check to see if some cheap RAM could boost its performance. Many PCs under 4 years old can benefit from doubling or tripling the RAM and it's often less than $50 to do so.
See if I can help you run a faster, cleaner PC with no hassle.
