The Register reports that F-secure has released fixes for a bug that allows virus authors to exploit their antivirus program.  Similar problems were recently announced about a Symantec anti-virus flaw.

Linux and FreeBSD users that just use best practices against intrusion, instead of antivirus software, aren't effected.
