My little brother delivered one of these (on the right) one Christmas. They are both good tenor saxophones. The one on the left, a Selmer, is the one I played in band when I was a kid; the other is a York, my little brother's from his marching band days. He made a comment about the leather going bad if I didn't play them last visit. Truth is, I've made no real effort to play them since he dropped the one off.

Another email attempting to collect bank information, claims "is obligatory to follow". Hey, someone gave the esl criminals a thesaurus.

This spam attempted to elude spam filters by using an image instead of text, and it worked. It slipped right through my Gmail spam filtering.

At around ten this morning, my power went off and I heard a loud explosion. I assumed a transformer had blown up. We lose lightbulbs daily to the constant power fluctuations. So, it seemed due. As I walked around outside and talked to a neighbor about the explosion, a power company truck drove by and found the problem. It turns out that it wasn't a transformer that blew. It was a fuse. I didn't even realize that neighborhoods had fuses, let alone that they could make that kind of noise when they blow.
