Scary Bridge
This bridge on a highway through Costa Rica's jungle stretched over a muddy river. The slats of metal and concrete were easily seen through to the waters below. It wasn't a comfortable feeling passing this bridge. However, we figured if the truck ahead made it through, then surely our micro-car would make it.
Costa Rican Beach
Coastal beach in Costa Rican national park. The waves in this inlet were calmingly mild. Walking through the park, you would see monkeys, various birds, and vines along the shoreline.
Monkey and baby
In the national park, on the coast, we came across this monkey and her baby (on her back).
Costa Rican Hot Baths
Volcanic runoff warms the waters in these baths. In a private bar and bath, waters from 155 to 180F soothe travelers. The clouds are from the volcano right behind this pool.
